Your senior superlative was well deserved and a very true prediction of your path. Thanks for coming home to play every once in a while. Someday, I'll see you in CA, like my SIL and my daughter have!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3231862751978284661.post-23704229364018099032011-04-17T21:12:25.408-07:002011-04-17T21:12:25.408-07:00Who would have ever thought that from a sheer admi...Who would have ever thought that from a sheer admiration of the baritone sax, you went on and give all of your passion to it? We also have to give credit to the band directors and music teachers who tirelessly go with us on the road to being solid instrumentalists. I don't just like your music, I believe in it. Because the one thing I didn't do ( continue playing sax. The last two times I've heard you on Baritone convinced me you have only begun to embrace that hog of a instrument. Passion saturates this horn when you are playing. I think you have the chops, and the stamina also. your playing Duke Pierson's Jennine on saturday night was magical and breathtaking. You habitually pour every once of your soul into every solo as if it is your last. Lee Morgan had that same trait, I saw him a lot before HIS death. I'm hoping you will continue to explore this instrument and compose music for multi baritone ensemble and drums/bass. Thanks for a great night of music at the Millenium!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
